Washington Park Ziplines Temporarily Closed for Repairs
(Denison, IA) The ziplines at Washington Park in Denison are temporarily closed while repairs are being made to the equipment.
According to Denison Parks and Recreation, the closure is due to misuse of the ziplines, which has made repairs necessary before the feature can safely reopen to the public.
The department said the ziplines are a popular feature for many families and park visitors, and they appreciate the community’s patience and understanding while the work is completed.
Park users are also being reminded to use playground and park equipment only as intended and to follow posted guidelines to help keep Denison’s parks safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Denison Parks and Recreation says updates will be shared as they become available.
