Recount Flips Final Advancing Spot in Crawford County Republican Supervisor Primary

(Crawford County, Iowa) An unofficial recount of the June 2 Republican primary for the Crawford County Board of Supervisors has changed which candidate holds the third and final spot advancing to the November general election.
The original unofficial results showed Troy Kluender in third place with 677 votes, one vote ahead of Brian Rank, who had 676.
Following the recount, Rank’s total increased to 678 votes, while Kluender remained at 677. The revised count places Rank one vote ahead of Kluender for the final advancing position.
Kyle R. Schultz continues to lead the field, with his total increasing from 1,003 to 1,006 votes. Craig Dozark’s total increased from 844 to 845, while Jonathan Lapel remained at 428.
The unofficial recount totals are:
* Kyle R. Schultz - 1,006
* Craig Dozark - 845
* Brian Rank - 678
* Troy Kluender - 677
* Jonathan Lapel - 428
Based on the unofficial recount, Schultz, Dozark and Rank are the top three Republican vote-getters and would advance to the general election.
