Denison to Host Public Open House on 7th Street Revitalization Plan
The City of Denison will host a public open house later this month to gather feedback on the future of the 7th Street corridor.
The open house will focus on the 7th Street Corridor Revitalization Plan, a planning effort aimed at identifying potential improvements along one of Denison’s most visible and heavily traveled areas. Community members will have the opportunity to review draft concepts, ask questions, and share input before the plan moves into its final review stage.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Norelius Community Library, located at 1403 1st Avenue South in Denison. The open house will be held in the Fireside and Carnegie Meeting Rooms.
Draft concepts expected to be available for review include ideas for corridor cleanup, improvements to key properties, restaurant and recreation opportunities, safer access, and possible next steps for implementation.
Residents may stop in anytime during the two-hour open house. City officials say public feedback will help refine the draft plan and guide future decisions for the 7th Street corridor.
