Park officials are reminding visitors to follow all posted safety guidelines to help prevent injuries and additional damage. The zip lines are intended for children ages 12 and younger and should only be used as designed.

 

Denison Parks and Recreation is also asking visitors to be considerate when using the park’s adaptive swing. The equipment is specifically provided for children and individuals with mobility or accessibility needs, and those users should be given priority.

 

Officials said proper use of the playground equipment helps reduce repair costs and downtime while keeping the park’s amenities safe and available for the entire community.

Denison Parks and Recreation thanked residents for helping keep Washington Park a safe, enjoyable and welcoming place for everyone.
