Lehman Pleads Not Guilty in Lake View Murder Case

(LAKE VIEW, Iowa) Joshua Lehman, 27, of Shenandoah, has pleaded not guilty to a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 27-year-old Rylie-Shea Muhlbauer of Manning.

Court records show Lehman’s written plea of not guilty was filed Thursday, August 13. The case has since moved forward in Sac County District Court, with an arraignment scheduled for Monday, August 31, at 9 a.m.

Lehman is accused in connection with Muhlbauer’s death on August 2 at a residence in Lake View.

Court records indicate Lehman remains held without bond.

Judge Angela L. Doyle has also been specially appointed to preside over the case.

The case remains pending. Lehman is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
