Denison Police: Arrest Made Sunday, No Injuries in Friday Crash

The Denison Police Department is reporting two incidents from this past weekend.

Documents show that police arrested Yamile Morales of Denison at U.S. 30 and 4th Avenue South at just after 2 a.m. on Sunday morning. They took the 20-year-old female to Crawford County Jail and booked her for Operating While Under The Influence and traffic charges incluing Driving While License Denied or Suspended.

Authorities also responded to a two-vehicle accident on Broadway at just before 4 p.m. on Friday. The report states that 50-year-old Nicole Braddy of Denison was traveling west when Anna Mae Hikins of Deloit drove onto Broadway trying to park in an open spot in front of the court house. Braddy's 2010 Chevrolet Impalal struck Hikins' 2012 Chevrolet Malibu on the passenger side. Hikins later stated that she looked both ways before crossing the road and did not see anyone coming towards her. Both vehicles eventually drove away from the scene with an estimated $2,000 worth of damage to each vehicle and no injuries were reported.
