East Sac County Spring Plant Sale Begins Friday, April 30th
The East Sac County Horticulture Department’s annual spring plant sale opens Friday, April 30th at 4 p.m. at the greenhouse behind the high school in Lake View. The greenhouse is open Saturday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plants will continue to be sold while there is enough inventory, but hours will be reduced after Saturday, May 8th. The students have several dozen varieties of plants for sale, including vegetables, flowers, accents and hanging baskets. All money raised from the sale is returned to the Horticulture Department to purchase supplies and educational materials for students enrolled in the program.
Supplies are limited, so those interested in purchasing flowers are encourage to pre-order here.
