Denison Police Reported Trio of Incidents on Monday

The Denison Police Department released reports detailing two arrests and one minor vehicle collision from Monday of this week.

The most recent public release states that police took Nathanael Herrin of Denison into custody near Hyvee at around 8 p.m. They charged the 30-year-old male with Possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing after seizing a glass pipe and a bottle of Fireball whisky.

Police also arrested Mark Cham of Denison at around 4 p.m. near the 500 block of North 14th Street. They charged the 49-year-old male with public intoxication.

All charges are allegations and the people named in each case are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The motor vehicle accident report indicates that a minor collision happened at around 2 p.m. near South 11th Street. It says 49-year-old Heather Stapleton of Denison was backing out of a parking spot in the WESCO parking lot. She reportedly backed her 2015 Chrysler Town and Country into a legally-parked 2017 Ford Fusion. No injuries were reported and the repair cost for the Fusion is estimated at $500.
