Supervisors establish new insurance rates for Crawford County employees
The Crawford County Board of Supervisors read and approved a proclamation highlighting May as Mental Health Awareness Month as part of their Tuesday meeting.
Supervisors, county employees, and citizens in attendance later spent around 90 minutes discussing an amended resolution setting insurance and COBRA rates for the 2021-2022 plan year. The board eventually took unanimous action establishing those as well as renewing dental and vision insurance for most county employees.
The supervisors held a brief public hearing before passing a resolution reclassifying a portion of 165th Street west of Dane Ridge Rd to a Level “A” Area Service Road instead of Level “B”. They also adopted the latest version of the Secondary Roads Department Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy and Handbook for employees that need a Commercial Drivers License. The board approved fees for the Clerk of Court and a liquor license for the Five Mile House as well.
