Pipsqueaks "Baby Animals": Wednesday, April 22nd 10am
Bring your 2-5 year old out to Moorehead Park to learn all about baby animals. This program includes a story, group activity, and craft. Be prepared to go outside. Registration is not required, but it does help with set up.
Earth Day Wildflower Walk: Wednesday, April 22nd 4:30 pm
Spend time in nature and celebrate the beauty of our planet! We’ll kick things off at the Depot in Moorehead Park before heading out on a guided hike to explore spring wildflowers in bloom. We’ll be hiking the Switchback Trail—a great opportunity to get familiar with one of our more confusing trails alongside a guide. The hike is approximately one mile. All ages welcome. No registration required.
Older Wiser Learning Seniors (OWLS): Tuesday April 28nd 11:30am
Senior citizens are invited to pack a lunch and learn about Honey Bees at the Conservation Center at Moorehead Park. Registration is not required, but it does help with setup.
Glow Disk Golf: Friday, May 8th 9pm
Play a 9-hole glow disc golf course in the dark at the Playground area of Moorehead Park! Tees and baskets will be lit to guide your way. Glow necklaces will be provided to help keep track of other people. We'll end the night with s'mores, because why not? Plan for at least an hour. We suggest participants become familiar with the course in the daylight. Reply to this email to reserve a glow disc or bring your own.
