Rising upperclassman, senior leadership propel Missouri Valley softball to red hot start
Missouri Valley softball has risen in the ranks after an impressive first half of the 2025 season. The Lady Reds are currently 14-2 on the year and are ranked 7th (3A) in the IGHSAU rankings after multiple ranked wins over the likes of Exira-EHK/Audubon, Clarinda, and Treynor.
Audrie Kohl leads the way for Missouri Valley with a .561 batting average and an 11-1 record in the circle with a 1.57 ERA, and underclassmen like Kaitlyn Evans are adding a spark with a .535 batting average and lead the team with 22 RBIs.
