Denison Fire stops gas leak on 4th Avenue North

The Denison Volunteer Fire Department responded to an emergency natural gas leak on 4th Avenue North at approximately 2:40 a.m. Sunday. The resident of a home reportedly backed into their gas meter and caused the leak. The fire department evacuated two homes while they worked to stop the leak. Firefighters spent about an hour on the scene and reported no injuries.
