Evan Blakley leaving role of CDC executive director
The Chamber and Development Council of Crawford County (CDC) announced this week that Evan Blakley will resign as executive director by March 31, 2023. The Board of Directors will seek to fill the role no later than April 1, according to the Denison Bulletin. November will mark 10 years for Blakley in the role overseeing the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development and Tourism programs for Denison and Crawford County. The Chamber celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2022. They also moved into new offices next to Denison’s City Hall where the CDC will launch the Ignite Denison incubator space to assist local businesses.
