UPDATE: Kansas Man Charged in Disappearance of Cari Allen

A Kansas man is charged with kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of Cari Allen, according to the Omaha World-Herald.
Allen is originally Cari Kesterson from Denison and was last seen at her west Omaha home at around 11:00 p.m. on November 19. Authorities issued an arrest warrant for 47-year-old Aldrick Scott and charged him with Allen’s kidnapping and accessory to a felony. Scott was not in custody as of Friday evening, according to available court documents. Law enforcement searched Scott’s home in Topeka, Kansas last week after someone reportedly called 911 on the night of November 21 and said Scott had killed his girlfriend. The Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation and releasing limited information about the case. The agency led multiple searches on Friday, including at the Pheasant Point Landfill in Bennington, Nebraska. KDSN has reached out to the sheriff's office and will update this story as more information becomes available.
