Crawford County No Longer Under Fire Ban
The Board of Supervisors decided to allow the fire ban for Crawford County to expire on Tuesday.
Emergency Management Coordinator Greg Miller says the county still wants people to be careful.
“Please let the fire department chief know and also the communications center know when you’re going to burn,” said Miller. “It is very dry out there so just be wise and don’t be burning when it’s really windy and babysit your burn.”
The supervisors adopted the ban at Miller’s request in late September to help with safety during harvest season.
