Christmas Crusade Gathering Gifts to Deliver Next Week
There's still time to bring your gifts to KDSN for the Christmas Crusade for Children Program.
The final day to deliver your gifts to the station is Friday, December 16. It's the first year Denison Police Chief Brandon Rinnan is helping run the program and he says it's special to be a part of it.
"Everybody gets involved in helping everybody out obviously law enforcement is involved but more importantly the citizens are involved and that's because of KDSN plus the high school and middle school really make this thing fly," Rinnan said. "It really shows the true meaning of Christmas in helping all these kiddos. What's better than the Christmas time and Christmas spirit to help the kiddos out and keep this program going?"
with the gift-wrapping party on Sunday, December 18 at Our Savior Lutheran Church. The program served a total of 216 children throughout the county last year.
