CDC Reloading in Search For New Director
Crawford County is currently searching for the next Executive Director of the Chamber and Development Council.
Members of the CDC board updated the county supervisors last week and Chairman Ty Rosburg is part of the group conducting the search.
“We already had one round where we just didn’t have the reach that we thought we would get. We found that that the salary is a little low for what we’re presenting for an opportunity to get somebody with some experience,” said Rosburg.
Rosburg says they are looking for someone with similar knowledge to the person they have in the role now.
“We don’t have to start the whole process over of someone learning the job. They can just hit the ground running and keep moving forward. We’re looking for a director that knows how to develop our industrial and commercial hub but also knows how to work with our smaller communities and help them grow as well,” said Rosburg.
Evan Blakley announced this past October that he intends to resign as director no later than March 31 after more than 10 years in the position.
