Holt Talking Directly to Counties About Session
Representative Steve Holt of Denison says he wants a direct line of communication with county supervisors about issues like property tax reform.
Holt says it might be the most difficult topic of the session and that’s why he reached out to all of the boards in District 12.
“I asked them if we can communicate every week so they know what’s going on and can give me their feedback. Our county supervisors have a tough job. They’ve got all of these responsibilities they have to attend to while at the same time, their prices are going up just like everything. We have to be respectful of that as we find solutions to this issue,” said Holt.
District 12 includes all of Crawford and Ida counties along with half of Shelby County.
