No Injuries After Saturday Night Structure Fire in Vail

No injuries are being reported after a fire at the Schroeder Trucking building in Vail on Saturday night.
Vail fire chief John Lapel says they arrived at the unoccupied building at just after 11:30 p.m.
“When the first engine got there we already had a partial roof collapse in the east end of the building. We started putting water on there. We did move two trucks that were close to the building out of the way. There were two tractor-trailers inside that burned in the building also,’ said Lapel.
Lapel says eight local agencies responded to the scene with firefighters or ambulance services. He says the incident is under investigation by the state fire marshal.
