Audubon Man Dies After Friday Crash on Highway 141
The Iowa State Patrol reported one person died after a two-vehicle crash on Friday morning in Carroll County.
The collision happened at 6:44 a.m. at Highway 141 and Eagle Avenue, according to the Iowa State Patrol. A 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Micheal Snyder of Audubon was traveling northbound on Eagle Avenue. A 2019 Mack Anthem driven by 53-year-old Craig Gruhn of Manning was eastbound on 141 and reportedly struck the Tahoe after it failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The incident remains under investigation.
Authorities say Snyder died in the crash. He was 34 years old.
The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Manning Fire Department assisted at the scene.
