Crawford County Hires Jason Blunk as Weed Commissioner
Crawford County hired a new weed commissioner during this week’s meeting.
Chairman Ty Rosburg says the board of supervisors hired Jason Blunk for the position.
“We were very happy to have what we thought were pretty good candidates. We actually got one that seems to be highly motivated about the job. He’s actually got a career field that’s in agronomy so it’s right in his wheelhouse,” said Rosburg.
He says Blunk will attend a three-day school for new weed commissioners this week. The county also appointed Linda Muhlbauer to the Region XII Council of Governments Policy Council. Supervisor Dave Muhlbauer abstained from the vote.
