The Department of Defense Heads Out To Woodbine
The Department of Defense is coming to Iowa to help complete the construction of the new IGNITE Pathways Regional Career and Technical Education Center at 6 West 7th Street in Woodbine on June 5th. This is the first time that the DOD Innovative Readiness Training program will be in Iowa completing a project. The DOD’s Innovative Readiness Training program is a U.S. military reserve training opportunity for military personnel that addresses the needs of American communities. The military is able to use this program to refine their engineering, and transportation skills by performing services and developing projects for communities.
