Crawford County Wellness Center Fundraising Makes Big Strides
The Crawford County Wellness Center fundraising project has had some positive news over the past couple of weeks. Juliana Rivas of Denison was recently nominated and won $10,000 for her work in the surrounding community from the Pella Community Foundation and chose the Crawford County Wellness Center project as her charity of choice to receive this money. Furthermore on November 15th, the Iowa West Foundation, reached back out to the Wellness Center and awarded them $150,000. Currently they are 72% towards their goal with the next phase / goal to hit 80% which will allow for a new set of potential “end game” grants to be available.
