Ar-We-Va Schools Celebrate Wrapping Up 25 Days of Kindness
In a fun and creative way to celebrate acts of kindness at Ar-We-Va Schools, staff and students are currently participating in “25 Days of Kindness” through Christmas. Principal Jordan Buhs said the school has always done a great job of recognizing staff and student accomplishments but wanted to take that down to the basic level of human kindness. During this time up until December 25th, the Ar-We-Va staff is recognizing small acts of kindness students demonstrate, and then announcing those individuals over the school intercom as well as on Facebook. In a humorous moment when interviewing with Principal Buhs, he said he’s even noticed students “going out of their way” to express their kind acts to him throughout the school week.
