Denison City Pound Sees a Positive Downward Trend in Capacity
The Denison City Pound after COVID-19 stay-at-home conditions subsided unfortunately saw an upward trend in pets being abandoned causing an increase in law enforcement officials dropping animals off which caused quite the strain for the pound, overseer Jeri Dreyer told KDSN News. However over the past several months Dryer said this issue has turned the corner and less and less pets seem to be abandoned and have not been in full capacity recently. However one issue that stands out to Dryer is their significant need for dry dog food this time of the year. To help support this need or to adopt an animal , one can visit www.denisoncitypound.org.
