CCMH WELCOMES FIRST BABY OF 2024
(Denison, IA) – Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) physicians and staff are pleased to announce the arrival of Angela Isabella, the first baby born at CCMH in 2024.
In the midst of a raging blizzard, Baby Angela was born on January 12, 2024 at 4:30PM to Yadira Segura of Denison. Angela weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches long. She is welcomed at home by older siblings, Victoria and Gael Segura.
To celebrate the wonderful occasion, Segura was gifted an assembled basket of clothes, diapers, and gift cards to take home provided by the nurses in OB and Med Unit of CCMH.
"We want to make our families feel special by sending them home with a little something to celebrate their new bundle of joy," said Theresa Sheer, Chief Nursing Officer. "We love to celebrate the first baby. It's such a wonderful way to start the new year, with new life and hope."
