Iowa West Foundation Awards Denison Washington Park Project $55,000 in Grant Dollars

The City of Denison was made aware Wednesday evening that the Iowa West Foundation was awarding the Denison Washington Park Project $55,000 in Grant Dollars. Mayor for the City of Denison thanked Jessica Garcia with the city and Sam Ellis with Denison Parks and Recreation for their efforts in writing the grant application for the project. Soseman noted that it makes everything cheaper moving forward with the project and noted that they are still activltly seeking further grant funding for the park project.
