March 2024 Johnson Propane Citizen of the Month
Congratulations to Sam Ellis of Denison as he is March's Johnson Propane Citizen of the Month. When Ellis is not busy directing all things Denison Parks and Recreation, he spends his free time volunteering and assisting with many local youth activities such as soccer or wrestling. Recently with the assistance and support from staff members with the City of Denison, Ellis completed his first ever grant application which ended up in a grant of $55,000 to go towards Washington Park in Denison. When congratulated on being Citizen of the Month, Ellis simply responded “Thank you, but I think of this more as a group thing. It’s not just ‘Sam Ellis”, I’m not where I’m at without the support I have”.
