Hawkeye 10 Conference All-Academic Team / Character
Award Fact Sheet 2023-2024
Criteria: ACT composite score of 29 OR SAT score of 1200 OR ISASP Average
Composite score of at least 660 & advanced in ELA 11th grade, Math
11th grade, Science 10th grade.
Membership: 22 member team/each Hawkeye 10 school will have at least one student on the
team provided they have a nomination who meets the criteria. The remaining
team members will be selected based on total points awarded during the
screening process.
Application: Students will complete an application and submit it to their Principal prior to the February Board of Control Meeting.
Screening: The Screening Committee will consist of the President, Vice President, and
Secretary of the Board of Control and one non-school person to be chosen by the
President.
Character: Each school gets to select one student for the Hawkeye 10 Character Team
Denison High School had eight students that qualified for nomination to the Hawkeye 10
All-Academic Team.
