Ferguson and Wiese Honored at Women in Business Luncheon

 

 

The accomplishments of local women were in the spotlight last week during the annual Women in Business Luncheon, where two standout professionals were recognized for their leadership and community impact.

Nicole Ferguson, owner of Revive Fitness by Nicole, was named the recipient of the Emerging Women in Business Award, highlighting her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to health and wellness in the community.

Stephanie Wiese, General Manager and Executive Vice President at Western Iowa Power Cooperative, was honored as Businesswoman of the Year, recognized for her exceptional leadership and contributions to the regional energy sector.

The event brought together business leaders and community members to celebrate the achievements of women in various industries. Attendees also heard from guest speaker Sarah Ennis of SparkPoint, Inc., who shared valuable insights on leadership. Additionally, Andrea Vonnahme offered a presentation on the Crawford County Women in Business Impact Organization (WIBIO) and its ongoing efforts to empower local women.

Organizers extended thanks to the sponsors who made the luncheon possible, emphasizing the importance of community support in recognizing and uplifting women in business.
