Fort Dodge Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges in Ida County
A Fort Dodge woman was taken into custody Wednesday night in Ida County, facing multiple charges, including assaulting a law enforcement officer.
According to the Ida County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Violet Marie Nelson was arrested and booked at 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. She faces charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer or others without causing injury, interference with official acts, and child endangerment.
Authorities have set Nelson’s bond at $3,300.
