Denison Schools Offer Free Summer Meals to All Children Through USDA Program

DENISON, Iowa – The Denison Community School District is once again taking part in the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program, ensuring that all children have access to free, nutritious meals throughout the summer months.

Beginning June 2 and running through July 31, 2025, meals will be provided free of charge to all children.

Meals will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the following location:

Denison High School
819 North 16th Street (Circle Drive) – For Pick-Up
Meal Service Hours: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday

The program aims to support families and ensure students continue to receive healthy meals even when school is out for the summer.
