State Cross Country Results for the Monarchs

The state cross-country race for class 3A took place Friday morning from Fort Dodge. The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs sent 3 individuals to participate in the race.

Girls:

Alexa Tremblay - Finished 70th with a time of 20:36.0

Lola Mendlik - Finished 81st with a time of 20:52.9

Boys:

Kevin Sanchez - Finished 88th with a time of 17:41.4

Marissa Ferebee from Pella won the state race for the girls with a time of 16:30.9 and Pella as a team won the title with a team total of 23 points.

Quentin Nauman from Epworth Western Dubuque won the state race for the boys with a time of 14:59.6 and Gilbert won the title with a team total of 33 points.
