No. 8 Iowa women fall at No. 2 UCLA
The eighth-ranked Iowa Hawkeye women came up empty on a trip to the West Coast. Second-ranked UCLA shot nearly 58 percent and hammered the Hawkeyes 88-65. The Hawkeyes were outscored 56-26 in the paint and also committed 19 turnovers. Sophomore center Ava Heiden led Iowa with 19 points, all in the second half.
