Monday thunderstorm brings quarter-sized hail to Crawford County
The National Weather Service in Des Moines located a severe thunderstorm near Odebolt, 9 miles southeast of Ida Grove, and moving east at 30 mph at approximately 9:58 p.m. Monday.
NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning for west-central Iowa including Sac County, northern Crawford County, and western Carroll County.
KDSN spoke with Crawford County Emergency Medical Agency Director Greg Miller about Monday night's extreme weather. His comments are attached below.
The severe thunderstorm warning expired at 11 p.m. on Monday.
