Denison PD reporting 4 arrests, broken window, pair of collisions

The Denison Police Department is reporting seven incidents since Friday.

The most recent public release states that police arrested Holly Townley of Carroll at approximately 8:22 p.m. Sunday near Highway 30 East. They charged the 27-year-old female with interference with official acts.

A separate arrest of Jerad Gray of Denison occurred early Sunday at around 2:30 a.m. near Ridgeway Drive. Police booked the 39-year-old male for domestic abuse assault causing bodily harm.

A Denison resident reported an incident to police on Saturday at about 10:19 p.m. near North Main Street. The related document indicates the resident had an apartment window broken out by two Caucasian juveniles. The initial charge a suspect would face in the case is fifth-degree criminal mischief.

Another Saturday arrest occurred at approximately 7:38 p.m. when an officer observed Abraham Wol of Denison passed out in a safety zone parking lot. The report states that a subsequent investigation led to police arresting the 39-year-old male for public intoxication.

Denison PD took Ranald Rodriguez of Denison into custody at around 3:11 a.m. Saturday near 2nd Avenue South. They booked the 31-year-old male for operating while under the influence first offense.

All charges are allegations and the persons named in a case are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The most recent motor vehicle accident happened at approximately 2:53 a.m. Saturday on Highway 30.

A 2007 Honda Pilot driven by 23-year-old Aiyana Rosales of Arcadia was traveling eastbound on Highway 30 on the inside lane approaching North 34th Street when a male jumped in front of her vehicle. The Pilot's left side struck the male which caused damage to the rearview mirror and front bumper. The report indicates the male was in the median of the road and jumped in front of the Pilot upon seeing the vehicle coming towards him. Rosales swerved and the male hit the passenger side of her Honda. An ambulance transported the male to Crawford County Memorial Hospital with injuries to his wrist and foot. Rosales sustained no injuries. The damage estimate for the Honda Pilot is listed at $1,500.

A separate incident occurred at around 2:45 p.m. Friday in the Tienda El Mexicano parking lot. Twenty-five-year-old Paw Sue of Denison was backing up a 2010 Ford F150 and struck the rear end of a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta which was in a parking stall. No injuries were reported. Police cited Sue for failure to provide proof of liability. The Jetta is expected to cost $250 to repair.
