CCMH Updated Visitor Policy
Crawford County Memorial Hospital has modified its visitor policy as follows:
For Outpatients, this includes patients in the regular clinic, specialty clinic, physical therapy, lab, radiology, and surgery. Each patient will be allowed one support person that’s 18 years of age or older to accompany them at the appointment. The support person is restricted to the exam room or the waiting area that corresponds to the patient’s appointment.
For inpatients: Each patient will be allowed one adult advocate for a 24-hour period. The visitor must be the same individual for the entire 24-hour period. After the 24-hour period is up, the patient is allowed a different person to visit for another 24-hour period. All patients and their one guest will be screened at the CCMH main entrance. Everyone will be required to use hand sanitizer, socially distance, and wear a face-covering at all times in the building.
Each patient with COVID19 will be allowed one adult advocate during the entire duration of the patient’s stay. All support individuals will be screened at the CCMH main entrance. All individuals will be required to use hand sanitizer, socially distance, and wear facemask at all times while in the building. The advocate must sign a waiver of liability, utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by hospital staff, and must agree to quarantine for 14 days following the visit.
All support visitors are not allowed to congregate in hallways or in the cafeteria.
