Iowa TE DJ Vonnahme selected to AP All-Bowl Team
After a breakout redshirt Freshman season, Kuemper Catholic alum and Iowa tight end DJ Vonnahme capped off the 2025 season in style, being selected to the AP All-Bowl Team.
Vonnahme gained the honor after his performance in the Hawkeye's 34-27 win over Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl. DJ caught seven balls for 146 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his great hands and deceptive speed.
Vonnahme finished the year with 29 catches, 434 yards, and three touchdowns with all of them coming in the Hawkeye's final five games of the year as Vonnahme continues to make a name for himself and to be a player to watch in 2026.
