Grass Fire along Donna Reed Rd
Earlier this afternoon, the Denison Volunteer Fire Department was paged out to a small grass fire in the ditch along Donna Reed Road. Upon arrival, the fire has jumped approximately 150-200 yards. Mutual aid was requested from the Vail and Manilla departments.
Crews were on the scene for approximately one hour with a fire watch remaining on the scene at this time.
The property owner indicated that his power had flashed off and back on. The probable cause would be an electrical arc at the point of origin.
