Denison Man Charged With Assault With Intent To Commit Sexual Abuse For April Incident
(Carroll Broadcasting) A Denison man was taken into custody on Friday in Carroll on charges that include assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. According to the Carroll Police Department, 32-year-old Chuol Kok Biliew was arrested Friday afternoon in the 200 block of E. 10th Street in connection to an April 5 incident in the 900 block of N. Clark Street. Authorities say a female victim reported Biliew had allegedly violently assaulted her during the early morning hours, including blocking the victim’s access to her cell phone and choking her to the point of unconsciousness. Authorities note the victim claims Biliew later forced her to perform sex acts under threat of violence. He was booked into the Carroll County Jail for assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor, and first-offense domestic abuse assault, a simple misdemeanor. As of this (Monday) morning, Biliew remained in custody, awaiting an appearance before a magistrate.
