Western Iowa Network’s Supporting Local Projects
Western Iowa Networks (WIN) continues to support projects in the communities they serve. 2 entities recently applied for and received project grants through the Aureon Charity Grant Program.
The Carroll Area Childcare Center & Preschool (CACCCP) received a grant of $250. These funds will be used towards the purchase and installation of padded flooring for the infant & toddler playground equipment.
The City of Westside was awarded a grant of $500 to be used towards HVAC equipment for their newly constructed shelter house in Hoffman Park. The shelter house can be rented by the public for a variety of events.
Organizations in any of the communities within the WIN serving area are invited to apply for an Aureon Charity Grant for upcoming projects they have. “These grants are a resource to helporganizations offset costs for projects in the communities we serve” says WIN CEO Jeff Roiland,“We strive to be very involved in the communities within our fiber footprint and it’s exciting tosee the initiatives these communities pursue to help drive their growth.”
Aureon Marketing Rep J.D. Siebert explains that these grant dollars “can be used foranything...fire departments, playground equipment.” He also urges organizations to be as specific as possible when applying for these grants so the selection committee has as much information about the project as possible.
